HongKong: Giant Buddha Ngong Ping

Lying on top of a hill is the Tian Tan Buddha, also known as Big Buddha. The enormous statue tower which is made up of bronze.  It is widely regarded as one of the biggest bronze statues of Buddha in the world.

To get there, we took the New Lantau Bus (NLB) No. 1R  to Ngong Ping Village.

As we walked further, the renowned Big Buddha can be clearly seen from here.

To reach the top of the big buddha, you will need to climb 268 steps.

After checking out the Big Buddha, we visited the Po Lin Monastery. Such a peaceful place and we spent some time watching the worshipers while enjoying the stunning statues.
