Singapore: Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands

On our first day in Singapore, we didn't have any plans and thought that it's a waste of time staying and doing nothing in the hotel. So we went out to one of the Singapore’s many famous touristy sites: the Gardens by the Bay.  Located next to the famous Marina Bay Sands, this is where they showcase the massive super trees which can reach up to 15 story tall.

The park is free and it's clean. They also have a Garden Rhapsody Show here every night where the super trees change color and turn on and off sync to the music.

We had the chance to go to the Sands Skypark, a view deck at Marina bay sands which gave us a nice view of the city from the top. It was a peaceful experience staring at the city and lights at night.

We also rode a boat going around and it gave us the beautiful view of the city.
